It builds viscosity and gel structure in all water base systems. Drilling fluids containing Xanthan Gum maintain nearly constant viscosity from below freezing to 270℉ static bottom hole temperature, in a pH range of 3 to 12, and the product is non-toxic and is readily biodegradable. Recommended Handling: All personnel handling this material must handle it as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
