The State Administration for Market Regulation recently issued and implemented a new version of the national standard “Port Logistics Service Quality Specifications” to further lead the way in improving the quality of port logistics services. As a transportation network hub and an important gateway for trade exchanges, ports play an important role in developing domestic and foreign trade and building a global logistics and supply chain service system. The new version of the “Port Logistics Service Quality Specifications” is based on ports and further targets air ports and land ports. It systematically proposes the overall requirements for port logistics services, service content, service quality evaluation and continuous improvement requirements, strengthening multimodal transport services. According to the requirements, service quality evaluation indicators such as timely delivery rate and information transmission punctuality rate have been added. The release and implementation of this standard will lead to the improvement of the service quality of my country’s port logistics enterprises and help improve the port business environment. It is of great significance for improving the efficiency of international logistics, promoting the facilitation of international trade, and supporting the construction of a new development pattern.
