On November 8, Hunan Juren Chemical announced the successful trial production of a 50,000-ton/year green biodegradable material caprolactone unit.
Project Overview
Hunan Juren Chemical New Material Technology Co., Ltd. invested 1.2 billion yuan to use the indirect oxidation of cyclohexanone to produce caprolactone production process, and launched a new 50,000 tons/year green biodegradable material caprolactone construction project. The product plan is: 50,000 tons/year caprolactone and 60,000 tons/year polycaprolactone series products.
After the project is completed and put into production, it will alleviate domestic demand for caprolactone monomer, open up a broad market for the application of polycaprolactone fully biodegradable materials, and increase the company’s product market share and corporate economic benefits. It is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of 1.75 billion yuan and generate tax revenue of 150 million yuan.
