In May, the output of medium-thick and wide steel strips in China was 17.878 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; the cumulative output from January to May was 83.427 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%.
In May, China's wire rod (wire rod) output was 11.63 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.3%; the cumulative output from January to May was 58.379 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%.
In May, China's raw iron ore output was 77.60 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%; the cumulative output from January to May was 391.352 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%.
