Beijing Institute of Technology releases new flame retardant products and new technologies

The School of Materials, Beijing Institute of Technology recently held the "National Flame Retardant Materials "Engineering Technology Research Center" Flame Retardant New Product and New Technology Information Conference. 30 representatives from 22 enterprises and institutions attended the press conference.

At the press conference, four experts from the "National Engineering Technology Research Center for Flame Retardant Materials" respectively released eight flame retardants, flame retardant materials and related technologies, including: high degree of polymerization ammonium polyphosphate (APP crystal Type II) industrial production technology, flame retardant nano-composite flame retardant synergistic technology, intumescent flame retardant technology, new nitrogen-containing polyether polyol synthesis technology for flame retardant polyurethane rigid foam, high-efficiency flame retardant for flame retardant polyurethane rigid foam Formulation technology, preparation technology of flame-retardant polyurethane hard foam white material, pilot production technology of hydroxyacrylic water-based emulsion for wood paint, preparation technology of phosphorus-containing polyurethane water-based emulsion. Experts and business representatives discussed different topics.

This press conference strengthened the connection between the National Flame Retardant Materials Engineering Technology Research Center and enterprises, and promoted the transformation of the achievements of the engineering center and the cooperation between industry, university and research institutes.
